This kit will help keep your fuel release valve from opening prematurely on vehicles with high performance tuners or power modules. If you have experienced one or both of these codes : P1011, P0087, it is recommended you install either this Fuel Rail Shim Kit or an H&S Fuel Rail Plug . H&S Performance tuning can raise the fuel rail pressure, which may cause the fuel rail release valve to open prematurely, causing unwanted trouble codes. This FRS-6.7 will add more spring tension to the valve, causing it to stay closed under slightly higher pressure.
